Shipping & Returns

Shipping

Each piece is made to order in New York and ships in approximately 4–6 weeks from the date your order is confirmed. This timeframe covers patterning, cutting, sewing, finishing, and quality inspection for made-to-order garments.

Production timeline

Your order enters our production queue within 48 hours of confirmation and payment, and most garments are completed within 4–6 weeks depending on design complexity and studio workload.

Domestic shipping

Once your piece is finished, it is shipped from New York via a tracked carrier. Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days within the continental United States.

International shipping

International delivery times vary by destination and customs processing; most shipments arrive within 5–10 business days after dispatch, but duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Order updates & tracking

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order leaves our studio, so you can follow its progress in real time.

Peak periods & delays

During peak seasons or in the event of carrier disruptions, production or transit times may be slightly extended. We recommend placing time-sensitive orders as early as possible, and we will notify you promptly of any significant delays.

Shipping address accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address and contact information are complete and accurate. We cannot be responsible for delays or lost packages caused by incorrect addresses or issues with local delivery services.

Returns & Exchanges

Our garments are custom-made to your measurements or specifications and are therefore considered made-to-order, bespoke pieces. As a result, most orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged except in limited circumstances.

Final sale for custom pieces

All made-to-order and custom-fit garments are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange due to change of mind, event cancellation, fit issues arising from measurements provided by the client, or personal preference, including color or fabric expectations.

Eligibility — defects or incorrect item

Returns or exchanges are only considered when the item is materially different from the order — wrong style, color, or size against the confirmed order — or has a clear manufacturing defect, such as damage or a major construction fault. Minor variations typical of hand craftsmanship or industry-standard tolerances are not considered defects.

Notification window

Any concern about defects or incorrect items must be reported in writing, with photographs or video, within 5 business days of delivery so our team can review and advise next steps.

Condition of returned items

If a return is approved, the garment must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and returned with all original tags and packaging; worn or modified items will not be accepted.

Resolution options

Once a defect is verified, we may at our discretion repair the item, remake the garment, offer a replacement, or issue store credit; refunds to the original payment method are reserved for cases where a suitable remedy cannot be provided.

Shipping costs

Unless the issue is clearly due to our error, the client is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for parcels lost in transit.

Order changes and cancellations

Because production begins promptly after confirmation, order changes or cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of placing the order; after that time, orders are treated as final sale.

Alterations

We aim to deliver a fit that reflects your measurements and design choices, and we recognize that some fine-tuning is often needed for custom garments. Our alterations policy is designed to support reasonable fit adjustments while maintaining fair boundaries around scope and timing.

Initial fitting adjustments

Standard fit tweaks within normal tailoring tolerances — for example, minor adjustments to hem, waist, or sleeve length — are considered part of the custom process and may be offered at a reduced rate or, in some cases, as a one-time complimentary service, depending on the garment and order type.

Alteration request window

Requests for fit-related alterations must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the garment so that we can assess the issue while the piece is still in original condition.

Scope of alterations

Alterations are intended to address fit only; they do not include redesigning the garment, changing the chosen style or fabric, or repairing damage caused by wear and tear or improper care.

Measurement changes and body fluctuation

Our patterns allow for standard tailoring adjustments, but significant measurement changes after ordering — for example, weight fluctuation beyond typical tolerances — may require more extensive work and will be billed as a separate alteration service.

Where alterations are performed

Alterations may be carried out in-house or by an approved local tailor; in some cases we may offer a capped alteration credit or store credit toward documented tailoring costs rather than remaking the garment.

Charges for additional work

Once any complimentary or included adjustment is completed, further alterations or redesign requests are treated as a paid tailoring service and are not covered under our returns or defects policy.
