a note from the journey
I have worn the thimble charm since I was nineteen, when I found it at a craft fair while studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Years later, the sewing machine charm was given to me for my birthday by my best friend, someone who has believed in my talent since our days together in art school.
The objects I keep are rarely just objects — they become reminders of where I began and the people who believed in me before I believed in myself.
Together, these charms hold both the beginning of my creative journey and the relationships that sustained it. They reflect the spirit of 8 Point Intersection: craft as memory, objects as visual language, and the belief that the smallest details can carry an entire story.
